Wanpeng Xu

Dr. Xu got his BDS from Henan Medical University, China, in 2000. Upon his graduation, he went to Hiroshima University, Japan, for his first periodontal training combined with a PhD majored in tissue engineering for periodontal application. After he came to the United States, he joined Boston University Goldman School of Graduate. Dentistry and received his second dental degree (DMD) and periodontal certificate from 2010 to 2015. Dr. Xu conducted and continued conducting research in tissue engineering applied dental field besides his teaching appointment and leading research group for dental implant during and after he finished his dental training at Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Currently he is full time practicing periodontics in multiple offices covering east Mass. He is still actively working with bioengineers and tech groups trying to develop new methods to help patients in clinic. Dr. Xu is an active member of American Dental Association and committee member of Massachusetts Dental Society.
